HOw this all started ...

For me this journey started when I was still in my early teenage years. We were going on our first trip ever outside the country with my family and my grandmother had been saving up for months, if not years, to buy herself a small digital camera which ended up in my hands more than hers during the trip. I was taking pictures of everything and everyone all the time. Already then I was afraid I would miss some important moments that needed capturing and thank god I did.

Years later she gave that camera to me full-time and then I was unstoppable. I felt free when I had that camera in my hands. The sky was the limit.

Fast forward to high school when I moved in with my other side of the family and my father happened to have a DSLR, a Canon 7D. Every moment I could I would ask him if I could take it to events or trips. The highlight of that was when I went on a photography-themed youth exchange in Poland and there was no way I wasn't taking that camera with me.
